Hi,

In Command window:

net use V: \\someComputer\sharename <return>
Enter the user name for 'someComputer': domainName\myUser <return>
Enter the password for 'someComputer': ******* <return>
System error 59 has occurred.
An unexpected network error occurred.

I have no problems using the same steps in XP or W2K. Can anyone please help
what I need to do in Vista to get around this.

Thanks a lot,
Glenn

This may be related to an SMB problem with Vista. The workaround appears to
be updating your verison onf Samba on your server to the newest version.

Vista apparently utilizes Samba 2.0 where as XP and W2K used Samba 1.0
