Windows XP starting to get hacked off now

No matter what driver I install after version 6.14.11.7519

I cannot get my system to show desktop. If boots fine. Just no display

Really beginning to annoy me now. Every single Nvidia update is useless

I'm runnin a XFX 9500GT and just get a blank screen

Any ideas?

Do you use the tool from guru3d to get rid of all traces of old drivers before loading new drivers ???

No mate tbh i've not, but saying that i've never had too in the past

I'll give it a go though :)

OK I bit the bullet. In that article the guy suggest the problem rested soley with Linux users, obviously he was wrong because i've just update my BIOS on my card and I am now able to install later version drivers namely the latest 192.62 32bit WHQL

Lets hope all goes well from now ;)
