Windows XP Slow Netware Browsing

I recently networked my 3 computers (all running xp pro with current updates) through workgroups, by going to the network adaptor properties > install > client > netware. Everything seems to work fine except when you browse to the different shared folders. Everytime you double click a folder it takes a good 20 seconds to open the window. However if you try to copy a file to another computer, the speed is fine. (I tried copying an 8mb song and it transfered almost instantly). Even if you try to go back within another computers files it still lags. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
