I want to reinstall a program on a w2k machine and it had
been removed using the add/remove feature, but the program
still would not load saying that there is still parts of
the old program still on the computer. The add/remove
software screen show an empty folder with the programs
name on it but the remove buttons are grayed out. Is
there another way to rid the system of this?

Ask the application developer.
