Preventing "Display Settings" window during install?

Is there any way to prevent the Display Settings window from coming up
during installation of WinXP? I have a few machines running without mice. If
there's no mouse attached to the system there's no way to focus and close
the window. Thanks.

How about Alt+Tab, then Alt+F4 to close or Enter for Ok.

before Windows actually starts up for the first time, IIRC.
