Windows Vista m4a to Mp3 batch converter?

Hi,
Want to abandon itunes as there are better value mp3 players on the market than ipod. So need to do a mass conversion of m4a to mp3. Can anyone recomend a good bit of sw to do so reliably?

Imtoo mpeg encoder does a good job but it costs about £20.00.

I'm sure there's a free m4a to mp3 converter out there somewhere as well, try Cnet.

I've recently swapped management of my I-Pod over to Wimamp, so much better than I-Tunes.

If you're changing players, check out the Creative Zen series, they're good, and avoid the Sony players, their software is a bit rubbish.

I downloaded the free version of Switch from here http://www.nch.com.au/switch/ and have succesfully converted a lot of my tracks to MP3
