Windows XP Internet needs to shut down

Why do I keep getting the followin message ;=
"Internet Explorer has encounted a problem and needs to close"
Thanks in advance, thelmasman.
 
Normally if you have an error on the page you will get this, may need to download a patch for it.
 
Yup, make sure you have run Windows Update and have all of the latest patches. Alternatively, use FireFox to browse :)
