How do i create a back button in front page for a website?

Our company designer is also in charge of the website, but not as familar
with front page. He wants to know how to add a 'back' button so when clicked
on it returns the site viewer to whatever page they were at previously.

Just put this code in the page where you want the "back button" to be:

Why is it better, Murray? And doesn't it need a <form></form>?

Nope - <button> is a standalone tag. That's why it's better.
