"find - not working"

I have protected a worksheet allowing two users to edit the complete range
of the worksheet. This works exactly as it should.

Do you lose the facilty to "Find a cell in the range" (Ctrl F) because the
sheet is protected?

Find will work if the data to be found is in and unprotected cell in the
worksheet.
