Excel Excel file message

Hi,

I was trying to download/save a file to my PC from an email and got this message:

FILE QUARANTINED
The original contents of this file have been replaced with
this message because of its characteristics.
File name: '500273_remin.XLS'
Malware name: 'ExceedinglyNested'

May I ask what this is and how do I fix it?
