Windows XP Distribution list error

I don't know if anyone can help with this, but I'd appreciate some thoughts.

I have reccently migrated a user from outlook express to outlook XP (2002)

All the contacts in OE have imported and the groups have been made into distribution lists.

In OE the user had multiple address book entries for some contacts, these were normally home or work e-mail addresses.

For 1 particular distribution list sent to staff internally it has changed some of the members from there work e-mail address to there home one.

Has anybody come across this or have any ideas.

I wondered if changed becuase the home addresses come before the work one alphabetically.

Any help is really appreciated,
