Definitions 5789 (142/142) are now available through Spynet download.
Good luck to all and Happy New Year.
 
Still can't get 5789 here - all the servers must not have been updated yet.

I looked at the IE temp files that are downloaded when I "check for updates"
and all three ".gcd" files are dated 12/29, but the ".cat" files are dated
12/15. I haven't check that in the past, so I don't know if it's normal for
these files to have different dates.

I can't get new 5789 definitions because my MSAS is still blocked to
download the 5787. Please help us!!!!

Patience.
It can take time for the newest updates to get to all the servers.
Until then, it is normal for some to be offered the older and others the
newer.
There is little you can do but wait.
It would be unusual if it took more than a day for the update to get to all
the servers.
Try again in a few hours.
 
Er... Jupiter... it has taken more than 24 hours for 5787 to trickle through
the system. Does this latest update mean we are back to square one?

Maybe this side of 2006?

Each update has to "trickle through the system"
Previous updates are irrelevant.
