Excel Convert date to milliseconds in Excel

How exactly do you mean? Milliseconds from the current date?

Also, what format is the date in?
 
Hi,
The date is in the format 06092005120400. I want thsi to be converted to milliseconds from Jan 1 1970.
It would be great if you can help me out

What format is 06092005120400?

DD/MM/YYYY for 06092005 I presume, but what is 120400? is that 12:04:00 in hours (24 hour type)?
