computer Stops responding

My computer stops responding for what seems to be no
apparent reason. I can be surfing the web or just sittin
here and it just stops. I cannot use keyboard or mouse
and have to manually restart my computer. could someone
help me with this please and thank you

Mike, could be a hardware or software problem. Check the fans and CPU
temps. You could use CPU Cool and

Maybe this will help? I had the same problem, and found
out that it was my optical mouse! It was too slow for
WinXP. I got rid of the mouse, and that got rid of the
problem. Good luck!
