activating xp

my computer came with xp not activated but i don't have
access to a phone. my computer also came with a dummy
modem. I do have internet access on another computer is
there any way to activate my product without a phone or
that computer hooked up?

What do you mean by a "dummy modem"? The product must be activated on the
computer on which it is installed or by phone. Why don't you have access to
a phone? If you're trying to activate XP on a laptop in the middle of the
jungle, then I could understand...but I cannot believe for one nanosecond
that you don't live within 100 yards of someone with a phone.
 
ohh, crap... i thought be meant a phone line to his computer! crap, dude,
you got to find someone with a phone to help you with this. u cant get
around it.
