XP won't activate

My PC comes up with "This copy of Windows must be
activated with Microsoft before you can log on. Do you
want to Activate windows now?" When I click on YES it
just comes back to the logon screen, then when I try to
logon it loops back with the activation screen again.
Even when I click No it does the same thing, so I can't
get into my computer. How do I activate it?
 
An OEM CD
I don't want to do a format though, I had it working
perfect

Try doing a repair install.

repair install
