XP Update and Gmail

Last night, windows ran an automatic update after which I could no longer
view Gmail at all on my computer. What happened? Help!

What update?
What happens when you try to go to your gmail site/account?

Identify which update it was. If it was a driver update never get
drivers from the MS update site. Go to the manufacturer's web site for
that. If it was a driver update then roll back that driver from device
manager.

If it was not a driver update identify which update it was and see if
there is an entry in Add / Remove programs from the control panel and
remove the update.
