XP Start Menu Flyouts

XP Home edition wants to 'manage' the Start Menu Flyouts
for me. I have plenty of room for the flyouts, but it will
only show a few of its choice, and I have to click the down
arrow. Can they be made to open all the way by some tweak?

Right-click on the nice green Start button and select:
Properties > Start Menu > Customize and uncheck
the little box next to "Use Personalized Menus".

You can also goto Start Menu Properties> Customize > advanced

the little box next to Scroll Programs
