XP Services blank, wont open. I need to get Restore running

I have restore points to fix the registry, but I cannot get the restore
tool to open. I also get a message on bootup: Curtains for Windows Service
Launcher (NT) had to close. I have no services or admin tools showing or
working.

You could give this a try but I doubt it will work.

Try getting into System Restore by

start>run and type

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

or go into same mode and select Last Know Good Configuration.
