XP Professional Pre Dial Terminal Screen

I recently upgraded to XP Pro. When I open an internet
connection or OE, when my dial up screen opens with
connnect and password, another screen pops up behind it.
It's label is Pre Dial Terminal Screen. I have to click
continue on it before my desktop will dial out. How can I
disable this screen from poping up? I don't use my
computer in a Net work inviroment and this is very
annoying and an extra inconvienence in my dial up
process. Any response will be greatly appreaciated. I am
not a geek, so I need help???????????

A quick Google using the search term "Pre Dial Terminal Screen" gave me
over 81,000 links. The first one on Annoyances.org seems to have the
answer for you. It's a bit lengthy, so I won't repeat it here - just go
there and click on the answer to the question (the link leads to a
messageboard posting). If you need more help, post back after you've
tried the fix.
