XP Pro / iTunes

Just got new PC with XP Pro SP2. Everything running great until I installed
iTunes / iPod S/W - system now hangs intermittently!! Checked Error Log and
keep getting the following msg;

DCOM got error "%1058" attempting to start the service iPodService with
arguments "-Service" in order to run the server {7A7F.......etc}

Don't know if this is relevant, but does anyone have any ideas/feedback?
 
Best bet is to check support for Itunes, as their software is obviously
causing the issue.
