XP logon

Hi,

re: WInXP Home

Recently any of the limited users that sign on to our
home PC with their own login receive small pop up boxes
that only say "Error" in the title line and Access is
denied in the body, plus an OK button. It takes several
clicks of the OK button to get rid of this box. It does
not seem to affect the logon however but it cetainly is
annoying. It does not happen when the administrator signs
on.

Can anyone offer any assistance with this one?

Many thanks
Andy

Hi Andy

Is that the exact error message you are seeing?

Hi Andy

If was one account - I would have suggested that it may have become corrupt.
Create another new limited account and leave it with the default settings -
see if that develops the same error.

Hi Kelly,

There is only the text described below. It is almost like
the limited users' start up is looking for something it
has no access to. Is there an error log somewhere?

Thanks

Will,

Same thing. As the various programs load I get the error
box and it takes about 8-10 clicks to finally get rid of
it.
