XP install freezes

Formatted partition and began clean install of XP Pro. Got to
"Installing Windows" 39 minutes left and system freezes.
Little greenies in right lower task bar stop. Turnoff
computer and boot from cd rom again. Second time gets to
same place and reboots. Third attempt, froze again.

Reinstall your previous operating system. When booted into that system,
place the XP Pro CD in the drive, when the setup screen appears, select
"Check System Compatibility."
