Does anyone have an easy way to back up document files on
Windows XP Home Edition. 98 had a program in it but can't
find it in the XP Home Edition. Need to set up an easy
way for someone to back up files other than copying to a
disk. We do have a zip drive to hold larger amounts of
data. Thank you

I am currently working on the same issue and I found that
you have to use your Windows XP Home Edition operating
systems CD and open the folder called "NTBackup" which
will start a Wizard to install it on your hard drive.
When you want to back up your computer, click on the start
menu, programs, accessories, system tools, backup. I,
unfortunately, just found out that apparently Windows XP
does not allow back up to a CD drive, and I have nothing
but a CD drive, so I you know anything about how to get
around this without having to install another drive, I
would love to hear about it!

Hope this helps!

Backup to your hard disk and then burn to CD.

Put in a zip disk, drag the files to the disk, done.

Or right click the file to be copied | send to | "x".
