I recently installed Windows XP on my computer. Prior to
installation I was using a Palm pilot M505 with no
problems.

Now after installing XP when I try to do a "Hot Sync" for
the palm, I get a message that the palm can't communicate
with the computer

Thanks

Probably first step is go to Palm's website and get an updated version
of their desktop software (which comes with sync software) which will
work better with XP. Pick something compatible with the Palm you have.

I have a similar problem. XP is not recognizing the cradle/cable at all. If you look at the device manager in XP you probably have an error on the PALM device "cannot start device (code 10)". I just posted note with all the details. Sorry I don't have a solution...but watch for my issue, maybe we will get an answer.

Any solution too the Code 10 error message?
Thank
