So I wanted to start a wish list for things to appear in
future versions of Outlook. Hopefully the developers
will see this and work on implementing them. If you Post
keep it realistic.

Tasks: The ability to have a thread of tasks, a single
project that has multiple steps and due dates, this way
only the next step will appear when viewing tasks. This
would work handy for classes that have homework/projects.

Tasks: Hide completed tasks from view, or an option to
delete it from the task list once done.

Calendar: the ability to select specific dates that have
no pattern for reoccurring events.

I give the rights to these ideas freely and expect no
compensation. I welcome Feedback.

Mate, a lot of these exist - the challenge with Outlook has always been to
find how to do them. That's why I can make a living providing training is
Outlook as a productivity tool!

Categorise your Tasks - a project is a category. You can make a view of
just that Category in a Timeline if you want to see it over a period of
time. You can filter out completed Tasks too.

View your Tasks folder a different way - you can see it without completed
Tasks if you have a go.

Yes! Calendar is not as good as other PIMs for multiple meetings - right
mouse dragging will let you copy one to another date but doesn't do the job
if you're inviting people. Try this - highlight the dates you want your
meeting using the Date Navigator and the CRTL/mouse click combination. Then
right drag the appointment to each day you want it on. Click Copy and
there it is!
