Windows XP would not recognize a Program File\CarTrax

Windows XP would not recognize or cannot find a" Program File\CarTrax", copied on a floppy disk, from a Windows 98 SE Laptop to a Windows XP new computer. I tried to install through the "Add New Hardware" on the control panel. Please help. Thanks. JAdams.

Software is not installed with "Add New Hardware".

Also, Windows based software can not be copied from a different PC to
another. You need to use the original installation media/file to "install"
software into Windows. Just by copying programs does not "bring" the
registry files nor extra files that do n ot reside in the program's home
folder.
