When I go to Help and Support in windows and click on the
line for windows updates the page tells me I am not
connected to the internet, why? And I am connected, and I
have another icon where I can clcik to have my updates
start.
.I really don't know why this happens, but you can
access Windows Updates a different way. Search for
Microsoft Windows Updates using your search bar, then
find "Microsoft Download Center" on the list of websites
and click on that. When it comes up, add it
to "favorites". This way, you can just go to "favorites"
to access Windows Updates instead of the Help and Support
Center. I don't even use the "Help & Support Center"
anymore unless I want to reset my pc to an earlier time.
If you can remember the last time you used "Help &
Support" without a problem, try resetting your computer
to that date. It won't destroy any of your personnal
files but it will take off anything you downloaded
between that time and the present.
