Hi, I have a problem with Standby and Hibernation. The problem is i cannot do
it. In power options there is suppose to be a Hibernation Tab and Standby Tab
and there isnt. THe option for hibernation or standby in the Task manager
under shut down is Faded out. So i cannot click it, and same its the same
under Start, turn off computer. Can someone please help me figure this out.
How do i get those tabs enabled or what ever. The acpi seems to be in working
condition, it says its working properly in Device manager. Could i need to do
something in the Bios? If so, what? Can someone please tell me how to fix
this lol.

Configuring Power Schemes
Using power schemes, you can configure how and when a computer turns off
devices, enters a suspend state, or changes processor performance levels on
mobile systems that support this function. You can configure these settings
according to the power source in use — whether the computer is plugged into a
wall outlet or powered by battery.

Depending on the hardware capability, you might be able to configure some of
these settings even if the computer is not ACPI- or APM-enabled.

You should check in the Motherboard or System USer Guide Manual to identify
what the capabilities of the Mobo are [ACPI or APM] and also how to configure
this in BIOS. Windows can only manage this if it has been configured/enabled
properly in BIOS.

To configure a power scheme

In Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance, and then click Power
Options.
Click the Power Schemes tab.

Select a power scheme. You can then change the settings in the power scheme
to best meet your needs.
