Hi everybody looking for abit of advice.

Just got this new computer Running windows XP professional ,2gig processor,
1048mb memory.

Occasionally for no reason windows totally shuts down the computer with a
msg along these lines
*windows has detected a problems and to save you computer from further
damage its has to be shut down*

that's not exact, but its along those lines,
when it does shut down, i get a screen dump, *blue screen, full of stuff
about the Kernel, and lots of 000000000000000 and stuff.

Is there any way to prevent this happening, or a way to find out the
problem.

cheers

Tom

Yes their is a why to stop this from happening but all of those 000000000 and
stuff are the key to stopping it,if you want help post the entire error
message the next time it happens.
