I am having problems running Flash based websites on my
Windows XP machine. So, I wanted to reintall IE 6
thinking this woudl correct the problem. However, when I
try to reintall IE 6 Windows XP tells me that I another
installation is not completed and has a pending reboot.
No matter how many times I reboot, I get the same
response.

Any thoughts on the re-boot issue are greatly appricated.

Hi Michael

How were you trying to reinstall IE?

Did you try the Macromedia Forums:

Will,

had not tried any of the solutions you referenced below.

My typical method for reinstalling any applicaion is to
remove it from via the control panel tool and and to
reinstall it.

Will visit the IE link you suggested.

Thanks,
Michael
