Windows XP Hangs on Shutdown.

[Mr Wiffy]

Running Windows XP home Edition, and it has started hanging on shutdown. It
completes the "Saving your settings part", then when it gets to Windows is
now shutting down", it just hangs. Its very annoying, and I have searched
the Windows KB, but none of the solutions apply to me. Its probably
something very basic, but I would greatly appreciate some help with this.
