Could someone please assist me in getting my HP Officejet
T-45 All in one working on my new Toshiba P15-S240
working completely and properly on my computer. I get
the error message aka my drive is not signed by Windows
XP and I have tried everything to install this thing. My
husband won't let me get a new printer as this one works
with other computer. I did get some information that
says that I need to change the Bios to ECP on my port. I
really need some help being all the way out here in Japan.
Thanks
Rena

So, when you click "Continue Anyway", I guess it still does not work?

Have you gone into your system BIOS to change the setting? (Usually
accomplished by a key-press (F1, F2, DEL, etc) right aftefr you turn on your
computer.. It has nothing to do with Windows at all and happily exists even
if Windows did not.)

Have you yet checked at Toshiba's own web site for tech support on your
particular model (http://pcsupport.toshiba.com/)?
http://snipurl.com/8dxj (a link to Toshiba's article) or the manual that
came with your computer will tell you how to enter the BIOS so you can
make changes there.

And once you get into the bios, find the settings for the onboard devices.
You are looking for the LPT1, Parallel, or Printer settings. If it is set
to Standard or EPP, note how to change the setting (usually shown on the
bottom or right side of the screen) and change it to ECP. Find out how to
Exit and Save Changes (again shown on the bottom or right side of the
screen.) Allow computer to reboot normally and add latest drivers from HP
for your OfficeJet.
