Windows will not let install

I am tring to get a Micorsoft joystick installed. When I run the software I get a message stating That I need to be the "Administrator". I am the only one using this computer. How do I tell WinXP THAT IAM THA ADMINISTRATOR!

Yep, that's the way to ask a question on a Microsoft-supported forum of
