Windows XP windows movie maker an interface has to many methods to fire events from??

Hi,

I'm using My Usb namtai eyetoy to record video... At least i'm trying to,

And when i get to the point that i choose the video settings it either says "an interface has to many methods to fire events from" or "an unknown error has occured" or "this device is already in use" When it isn't

I suppose it isn't the best recording device as it's built for the ps2 but does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
