This may be useful to someone. I built a computer with a barebones kit and
used an NVIDIA TNT/TNT2 AGP graphics card. Windows found drivers for it and
it seemed to work fine. Only problem was that if I left the computer on
overnight or left it idle for any appreciable length of time, it would
freeze up. In device manager the display adapter was listed as NVIDIA
TNT/TNT2 (Microsoft Corporation). After experimenting with other remedies,
I decided to go to the NVIDIA site and download the recommended driver for
it. That cured the problem. It's been running for a week now and hasn't
frozen up yet. Device Manager no longer has "(Microsoft Corporation)"
appended to the device either....
