What exactly do you mean? You can't lose windows explorer. It is tightly
integrated into the os. Please post your exact problem with error messages,
if any.
1. Right-click on your Desktop and select: NEW > SHORTCUT
2. In the Create Shortcut window, type in: explorer.exe , and click "Next"
3. In the next window, type in: Windows Explorer , and click "Finish"
4. A Windows Explorer shortcut icon will appear on your Desktop.

Answered in another thread moments ago. No, you're mistaken; it
hasn't.
Please don't ask the same question more than once (unless several
days have passed). It just fragments the thread and confuses
