Windows Activation Prompt - But I already activated!

I was running Windows 2000 Professional for a long time,
and finally got to the point where I needed to reformat
the hard drive. What I actually thought I'd do, since I'm
not very tech-savvy, was simply install XP over 2000.
What I ended up doing was installing XP to a different
partition (I think), so that both were loaded onto my
computer at the same time. I activated Windows XP. When
I figured out what I had done, I went back and just
reformated the disk, installing XP anew. Now everytime I
log on I get a prompt telling me I have fewer and fewer
days to activate XP, but whenever I click on the icon in
the task bar, I am informed that XP is already activated.
But the prompt still shows up every time I log on.

Anyone know how I can fix this?
