windows 2000-internet option box has been altered -need to restore

I have run ad-aware and supposedly removed all the viruses and spyware on my
computer...I have comcast cable high speed internet....I believe the viruses
somehow altered internet explorer by removing the "general tab" from the
internet options box and altering the whole Internet options box from its
normal format.I dont have the initial disk to re-install. How can i make
internet explorer 6 come back to its normal state?
