Win2k, Terminal Services, Power Mgmt, and Running HCTs Remotely

I have a setup where I remotely run HCT tests on WinXP and Win2k3 using
remote administrator (big memory, many CPU computer is at another location).
Recently I started running remote Win2k AdvSvr HCT tests and found out that
if I want remote administration using terminal services that power
management is disabled which screws up the ACPI tests. Is there any way to
run HCTs remotely on Win2k AdvSvr other than installing VNC or something
like that? Is there a way to bypass the 'no power management when terminal
services is installed' design?
