Anyone know if any newer service packs will be released for
Win2k that have security features like SP2 for WinXP? I like the popup
blocker incoperated into SP2.

Sure would like to see a SP5 for Windows 2000 Professional that includes
IE6 SP2 and at least some of the other security enhancements in XP SP2.
With 10 months of "Mainstream" support and 5 years on top of that of
"Extended" support there's going to be a lot of Win2K around for a long
while.

Tom,
My current understanding is that we are looking at SP5 for Windows 2000 and
the possibilities of back porting some code from SP2.
However, mainstream (free) support for Windows 2000 ends June 20th 2005 so
any Service Pack would have to ship before then.
Regards,
Mike
