I have an error message that keeps coming up when I am on the internet. The error message says that Wintools.exe has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. Nothing seems to happen when it "shuts down" but the error keeps coming up whenever you go to a new site on the internet. Please help.

Wintools.exe looks like a spyware/trojan horse program. You should delete it
and rerun your AV program.

You need to get a spyware program to get rid of this problem. Always protect your computer with a up to date antivirus , spyware, adaware program, download all critical updates from microsoft and turn your firewall on.

Unless you've installed WinTools.Net, you most likely have a parasite. See
here for removal. http://www.geocities.com/flatfilsoc/remove_wintool.html
