Which firewall program is the best?

Hello everyone.

Recently being attacked by sasser worm I am considering starting using a
firewall. Which one is the best? "Best" means that it takes fewer resources,
give a good protection and can be configured to run manually instead of
startup if needed. Is Norton's firewall good? Or is there better one?

Thank you for your suggestions.

P.S. what do you think about Microsoft's firewall that can be activated
within an Internet connection?

"Considering" a firewall? That "can be configured to run
manually if needed"?

I am so sorry.That luxury ended with the advent of the
first RPC exploit.

It is VITAL you enable XP's inbuilt firewall at
once,while you decide which third party firewall you are
going to download and install.It is better than
nothing,which,if I understand correctly,you have at the
moment.

If you do not have a third party firewall enabled,turn on
the inbuilt XP firewall:
