Thanks for everyone's help.
I sat down last night with a bottle of VSOP Brandy and determined to fix
it. I DID.
A couple of you led me in the direction where I found the problem and one
even hit it.
Some how my BIOS had been changed so my Primary Hard drive was second on
the priority list and my sencondary was first, I had to look for a minute at
the IDs of each to see this and then I moved the primary back in position one
and the secondary into position two and poof! all is working fine.
It didn't matter about the floppy being looked at first or not it was all
in the priority of the boot and not the sequence of the boot.
Thanks to everyone for their input. I still agree with R.C. let's go back
to basics.

In Cognac, VSOP is one of the legally-defined categories, and
stands very "Very Special Old Pale." To be VSOP, all of the
brandies that make up the cognac have to be at least 4-1/2 years
old.

I have been a drinker longer than I can remember and I am not sure if the
two are related. J.K
V.S.O.P is usually 12 years old.
