what is the latest version of IE, at i think i have a false version installed??

i have been noticing a few things with IE for a few weeks now, when i click
the scroll bar to move down the page it is fine, but when i click in between
them to jump one page at a time, it jump 2 or three pages sometime to the
last page and not one page at a time like it once did.

the version i have is

6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633

does anyone have this version and have these problems, or have i got a bogus
one installed?, if so where would it have come from, cos i have not
installed it myself, i last installed this with windows update, like always.

I would think you got this effect from the security update MS03-048/KB824145.
Microsoft is aware of this problem with KB824145 and looking into it.
