What is perfectnav?

I have this perfectnav website show up when I type in a wrong address. Also, when I try to log in on a school website, it redirects to that website and doesn't let me in. Is it spyware or something like it? It's very annoying. Any help would be appreciated

It is a browser spyware type program. I found it came in
with either kazaa or hotbar. You can go into program
files (maybe in common files) and delete it there, or you
can also get a great program like ad-aware to take the
programs out for you. I found it stopped running as soon
as I did a scan with ad-aware. Good Luck :o}
