What is hotfix and can you delete files?

What are all the $NtUninstall directory files under
Windows directory?
Can you safely delete these files? Also, what is hotfix
in the add/remove program areas.
 
The hotfix entries in ADD/Remove are the windows update
hotfix entries.You only remove these if you are having a
problem with it.The $NtUninstall files are used when you
want to uninstall a windows update that you have
installed.These can be deleted if your computer is
working properly after you installed the updates,and you
know you will never need to uninstall said update.
To recap.Leave hotfix entries,delete $NtUninstall files.
