What are the Folders Found.000, Found.001, Found.002 etc. all about?

Kenny

when a hard disk finds an error and scandisk tried to fix it sometimes
those folders are created with the lost information in them.

Usually they are not restorable... so you can delete them.

Are you using FAT32?

If you are you should consider switching to NTFS that seldom has those
problems.

Hope this helps. Let us know.

Hi

Those folders are created by 'Check Disk' - chkdsk. You can have a look at
the contents by opening the files in Notepad. They can be deleted, yes, as
not much data is retrievable from them.
