Can anyone recommend a good instructional book for me to learn some
visual basic. Is there a V.B. for Dummies? I need to do some
programming for Excel and will be self teaching the v.b. side.

Thanks!

Try one of John Walkenbach's books, like Excel 2002 or Excel 2003

This includes info about Excel and VBA

Yes. I'd like to also recommend "Excel VBA and Macros" by Bill Jelen (Mr.
Excel). Plain english, and fun. Most of the examples work in all version of
Excel from 97 through 2003.
