I've always had problems with IME under Windows under XP. Windows' support for things like this, on a range of 1-10, 10 being pathetic and 1 being piss poor, is somewhere around negative 1,000. Apparently hasn't improved in Vista. XP actually is giving me the problem that it randomly mis-recognizes my Japanese keyboard and randomly gives it a US or Chinese layout. Once in a while it will actually give it a Japanese layout. My solution for stuff like this in the past, under XP, has been to actually replace the keyboard driver .sys files with the right ones. So basically if you are using a US Keyboard, try taking the US keyboard ..sys file, and replace the other layout that Vista is choosing with that keyboard layout file. That way, when Vista, dumber than a brick OS that it is, chooses the wrong layout, it will still be right. This worked for me under XP. So in your case, replace the japanese keyboard .sys file with the US .sys file and things should be fine even with Vista choosing the wrong one. -- Stephan 2003 Yamaha R6 å›ã®ã“ã¨æ€ã„出ã™æ—¥ãªã‚“ã¦ãªã„ã®ã¯ å›ã®ã“ã¨å¿˜ã‚ŒãŸã¨ããŒãªã„ã‹ã‚‰
